Rick and Susan Poss and daughter Amy own and operate St. Paul East RV Park. Along with son, Matt, they have owned and operated the campground since 1991.

The campground isn’t just a business to the Poss family, it’s their summer home.

"We take great pride in the quality and cleanliness of our facilities and grounds, our beautiful landscaping and our friendly, professional staff," says Susan.

Rick was a senior executive and officer with a major computer scanning and services company until the late 90’s, and Susan was a teacher and stay-at-home mom before deciding to purchase the campground.

"It was a good opportunity to have a family-owned and involved business in a growing industry," said Susan.  "And it was a great training, learning, and maturing opportunity for the children."

When she isn’t on the campground assisting RV guests and walking their dogs, or working with her horses, daughter Amy is finishing her college degree, majoring in German, biology education and pre-medical sciences.

After fifteen years in the business and completion of his undergraduate and master’s degrees, son Matt began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy in October, 2005.  He completed Officer Candidate School and was commissioned in January, 2006.  Following a year of training and preparation in 2006, Matt is currently stationed in Bangor, WA, serving as an officer on the USS Maine, Pacific Fleet, a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine.

Rick and Susan spend their winters at their Marco Island, Florida home and enjoy RV’ing.

Our excellent, professional staff includes three retired, full-time RV'er couples who work and live with us on the campground during the summer months.
