Rick and Susan Poss and daughter Amy own and operate St. Paul East RV Park. Amy is in her second year of assuming primary responsibility for leading the business. Along with son, Matt, they have owned and operated the campground since 1991.
The campground isn’t just a business to the Poss family; it’s their summer home. "We take great pride in the quality and cleanliness of our facilities and grounds, our beautiful landscaping, and our friendly, professional staff," says Susan.
Rick was a senior executive and officer with a major computer scanning, services, and software company until the late 90’s, and Susan was a teacher and stay-at-home mom before deciding to purchase the campground. "It was a good opportunity to have a family-owned and involved business in a growing industry," said Susan. "And it was a great training, learning, and maturing opportunity for the children."
Amy finished her college degree in 2007, majoring in biology education and German. Instead of pursuing a teaching career, she decided last year to assume on-going responsibility for the family RV park business.
Rick, Susan, and Amy spend their winters at their Marco Island, Florida home and enjoy RVing. Amy and her horse, Tigger, spend time together in Florida while Amy also works in the Everglades. During the winter of 2010-2011 she will be working in Big Cypress National Preserve. 
After 15 years in the business and completion of his undergraduate and Master’s degrees, son Matt began his career as an officer in the U.S. Navy in 2005. Until March, 2010 Matt was stationed in Bangor, WA, serving as an officer on the USS Maine, Pacific Fleet, a nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine. He, his wife, and new son, Jonah, relocated to Richmond, VA, in March, where Matt is a LT. at the U.S. Defense Supply Center.

Our friendly, professional staff includes retired, full-time RVers who work and live with us on the campground during the summer months. They are selected because of their knowledge, their great work ethic, and the respect they have for you. Our goal is to provide an excellent camping experience for you.
